Verizon to release a bunch of affordable Android phones
Verizon is offering a number of amazing high end smartphones and now it seems they might be adding a bunch of affordable Android smartphones to their line as well. PhoneArena is reporting that Verizon will release the LG Enact, LG Exalt, Kyocera Hydro Elite and Samsung Convoy 3. A road-map was leaked recently that suggested about the Exalt and the Convoy 3; Exalt is a flip-phone whereas the Convoy 3 is rugged clamshell feature-phone.
Then there’s the LG Enact which we saw recently as an upcoming Verizon smartphone. What’s new about it is that it also features a sliding-QWERTY keyboard. I honestly don’t remember when I saw a device with a sliding keyboard last time, but it seems LG and Verizon are trying to keep the tradition alive. The last one is another rugged Android phone known as the Kyocera Hydro Elite.
It is said that these devices will be available at Verizon’s shelves by September 15th, so we hope to see an official release before that. Are you looking forward to any of the mentioned devices?
