Brands We Love: Ballistic

In the market for a new smartphone or tablet accessory for your beloved Android? Fortunately for you, there are a number of companies who provide a portfolio of wonderful products to choose from. One such company that we’d like to draw attention to is Ballistic.

We recently received a few products from Ballistic for the Samsung Galaxy S4  and we were impressed with the quality, color options, and overall design.

The SG MAXX Series provides your beloved Android phone with 4 layers of protection. The kit comes with a solidly built holster and a screen protector and the case features no-slip grip materials and port covers. We like that Ballistic gives users a choice in colors: Black/White, Cobalt, Black, and Black/Hot Pink. The total package is a tad thicker than you might expect but the Galaxy S4’s thin form factor keeps things as svelte as possible.

While the pricing is a little high at $49.95 for the SG MAXX Series, you can find it much lower on Amazon. In fact, a quick glance today tells us that you can grab the same kit for $25.46, or about half the price.

For those of you who don’t need such high level of protection and like to accessorize with color, you’re advised to check out the Aspira Series. Offered in a dozen different color options, this line is less expensive and comes with reinforced corners and durable rubber. You’ll be able to drop your phone (on accident, of course) and keep the screen safe with the raised lip over the display.

Ballistic sells this line of cases for about $34.99, however Amazon is offering them for about half the price. Click here to see the current listings, some of which are less than $18 each.

Ballistic has a wide assortment of products and accessories for your smartphone needs, and not just in Android – or for the Galaxy S4. Indeed, there are a number of products available for iOS and there are tons of universal devices.
