HURRY! Amazon giving away nearly $40 in free apps today!

Amazon, in celebrating the one-year anniversary of the European debut of the Appstore, is giving away a bunch of free apps and games. Hurry, though, as this deal only lasts for one day. Instead of the normal free app of the day, Amazon is dishing out ten of them, cumulatively worth almost $40.

Featured apps in the bundle include:

  • Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals
  • Drawing Pad
  • Angry Birds (Ad-Free)
  • PAC-MAN HD (Kindle Tablet Edition)
  • World of Goo
  • Shazam Encore
  • SwiftKey
  • Calengoo
  • Sprinkle
  • Paper Camera
