Lenovo intros Vibe X smartphone, S5000 tablet at IFA
Lenovo announced quite a bit at IFA this week, however, we’re only here to share two of the devices from today.
The Lenovo Vibe X is an Android 4.2 smartphone that features a Quad-Core MTK 6589T 1.5GHz processor, 5-inch 1920×1080 full HD display, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Desked in a “premium polycarbonate body and an advanced mold, laser-engraved 3D tactile finish”, the Vibe X boasts 2GB RAM and a 3450mAh battery.
The Lenovo S5000 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and features a Quad-Core Media Tek 8389 1.2 GHz processor, a 7-inch 1280×800 pixel display, a pair of cameras (5-megapixel rear, 1.6-megapixel front). Offered with an optional 3G HSPA+ connection, the S5000 is one of the slimmest and lightest tablets with a 7.9mm form factor/246 grams.
The Lenovo Vibe X smartphone will be available in China starting in October and in countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold beginning in December. The Vibe X smartphone is not for sale in Europe. The K900 smartphone in black and orange with 16GB/32GB storage is available beginning immediately in China and will be available later this year in countries where smartphones are available. The S5000 tablet will be available in 4Q 2013.
