Verizon opens up pre-orders for Galaxy Gear, Galaxy Note 3

Verizon, jumping on the bandwagon, has started offering pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Pricing falls right in line with the other players at $299 for the smartphone (with a two-year service agreement) as well as the wearable tech. Shipping is expected by October 10 for both devices.

The Galaxy Note 3 will be available in Jet Black and Classic White color models for $299.99 with new two-year customer agreement. The Galaxy Gear is available as a bundle with the Galaxy Note 3 for $599.98 with a new two-year customer agreement and will be available in Jet Black, Wild Orange and Mocha Gray color models.

It’s unclear whether customers will be able to buy the Galaxy Gear without purchase of the Galaxy Note 3 but we’d certainly hope so.
