Virgin Mobile debuts $99 ZTE AWE

Virgin Mobile announced on Tuesday that the $99 ZTE AWE is now available to purchase through the no-contract carrier. Powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the phone features a 4-inch display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 4GB internal storage. The 3G handset can be paired with Virgin Mobile’s Beyond Talk no-contract plans (unlimited data and messaging) which start at $35 per month.

    Hey Virgin, you don’t need another low end phone… Either
    Expand LTE or release more S2 handsets, (you’ve got no WIMAX available phones)… I’m hanging on to my EVO V 4G because I want my 4G, but I really want a new high end device. Christmas is coming… PLEASE give us high end phones…
