LG prepping 6.4-inch Android 4.4 device, report says

LG is working on a 6.4-inch Android behemoth of its own, according to new reports hitting the internet. Following on the heels of the G2 and Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra comes word of an LG device with the massive screen size.

Additional details are alleged to include Android 4.4 KitKat, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and 3GB RAM. No word on when the device will make its introduction however the next likely scenarios could be CES in January or MWC in February. LG historically debuts a number of new smartphones at the event held annually in Barcelona.

To be clear, it’s not much of a stretch to consider these specifications will comprise many of the next-gen smartphones. Save for that strange LG Vu, the handset maker has yet to offer anything substantially larger. Then again, if everyone else finds the form factor successful, LG will want to hop on board.
