Surprise! Nexus 5 left unattended at bar

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: A forthcoming flagship smartphone was left unattended at a bar where someone promptly identified the device as being worthy of a photo – or three. Funny how these sort of strange situations present them, isn’t it? Isn’t nuts how people see a random, unattended device and the first thing people think is to take pictures?

Planned or not, staged or totally random… whatever, here it is. There’s not much new here to share other than the fact that it’s in the real world (likely a dogfooding project) and inching closer to release. We do have a nice clear glimpse of the front and back as well as ever-so-brief looks at the screen and animations.
