Good news for those of you like unlocked Android smartphones for tinkering and development. Moto X Developer Editions are here with 32GB of storage an unlockable bootloader and support for Verizon 4G LTE. Priced at $649.00 it gets a head start on the GSM version (AT&T and T-Mobile) which will be available online on Friday. On Sprint? Your Moto X already comes equipped with an unlockable bootloader, lucky!
These new dev editions come in black on front and woven white on back along with a stamp of approval that claims your “developer” (geek like myself) status.
Also available for the modding and hacking enthusiast crowd is the Motorola Droid Maxx Developer Edition which costs $649.00 as well.
