Oppo may announce CyanogenMod smartphone on September 23

Check out the short teaser clip that Oppo posted online just a few hours back. Yes, that’s CyanogenMod’s own Steve Kondik telling the world that he’s excited to attend the Oppo event in Beijing on September 23. The description listed in the YouTube video? “OPPO + CyanogenMod = ?”

We don’t have to tell you that the Android world could get very interesting next week with the new rumors that Oppo will debut the first official CM smartphone. We’re definitely interested in seeing that lies ahead for the Oppo N1.

As for the rumors of a CyanogenMod phone from HTC, well that seems to be a much less likely scenario.
