Samsung confirms October debut for smartphone with curved display

Samsung is expected introduce a smartphone with a curved display in October, says the company’s head of mobile strategic marketing.

“We plan to introduce a smartphone with a curved display in South Korea in October,” – D.J. Lee

Curved displays aren’t necessarily new to Samsung as there have been previous models that employed the slightly wrapped screen tech. As to what device we might expect to boast this sort of display, the Galaxy Note 3 Active is among the front-runners. Looking much further down the road, we could see something like this in the newly rumored Galaxy F.
