Nexus 5 spied in clearest picture yet

We’re officially into October which means we’re fairly confident that the next-generation Nexus smartphone is due this month. Photos, leaks, and rumors have been gathering steam over the last few weeks as we head into the presumed Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5 announcements.

Today sees us stumbling across what looks to be the clearest image yet of the alleged Nexus 5 smartphone. It’s only the back, sadly, but it’s a really great shot of the phone. Here’s hoping we get that thing to turn over and show us its front. When asked how the device felt in hand, the source of the photo claimed that the display is “ok” and that the back is reminiscent of the Nexus 7.

We anticipate seeing plenty more images like these over the next couple of weeks as we head into the debut of the handset and updated platform.
