New photos have surfaced online which are purported to be some of our first looks at Android 4.4 KitKat. You’ll notice in the images below that there are a few Key Lime Pie references which suggests the designs were in place before Google announced the name of this particular version.
Some of what you may find below include NFC payments, saving images as PDF or printing to wireless printers (Google Cloud Print), a gallery/photo editor, an option to manage wireless plan, and more. The picture of the ‘K’ and slice of pie are said to be the easter egg that sprouts when you tap the Android version repeatedly, a common hidden feature among platforms.
Assuming these are legit, what’s your take? Do you like what you see or were you hoping for something else?
