Samsung Galaxy Round likened to ‘prototype’
The Samsung Galaxy Round announced last week may ultimately prove to be more of a concept device, more along the lines of a prototype. Reportedly, the smartphone will be produced in limited quantities and may not find a home outside of South Korea. According to a SamMobile source, the handset is being used to test the curved OLED display, much like other one-off models (SCH-W850, Galaxy S II HD LTE) have in the past. We might look for the 2014 line of Samsung smartphones to slowly introduce more of the curved display technology.
