T-Mobile HTC One gets Android 4.3 update
T-Mobile has started sending out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to the HTC One, according to the carrier. Skipping the 4.2 versions altogether, this update brings launch bar enhancements, advanced notifications, a widget lock screen option, quick settings, and more.
Improvements in Android 4.3 update:
- Notification bar and quick settings
- Battery life
- Camera AE/AF lock
- HTC Blinkfeed – Navigation & Instagram
- HTC Video highlights
The update is being rolled out as of today, but you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About > Software updates > Check now on your T-Mobile HTC One. The file size is 560MB so you’ll want to have plenty of battery left. Non-rooted HTC One owners on T-Mobile will want to grab a Wi-Fi connection and get started with the 3.24.531.3 software build.
