Google provides early glimpse at next-generation of Glass

Google on Tuesday introduced a sneak peek at the upcoming refresh of the Google Glass wearable technology. Offering very few details about the device, Google says that the new design is due later this year. According to the Google+ account, the successor will work better with prescription glasses and include an optional earbud. Should you not want to add more hardware to your head you can still opt for the bone-conduction for audio. Current Glass users in the Explorer program will be able to swap out their current Glass specs for so-called Google Glass 2.

Be sure to check out our coverage of what it’s like living with Google Glass.
