Get This Look: Flards
We’re huge fans of changing the home screen around a bit and creating a new user experience for our Android. So much so that we present this weekly series of Get This Look posts.
In a nutshell we show you a new look for your Android handset and tell you which apps you’ll need if you want to mimic the feel. Some of these are a little easier to create than others and many of them can be tweaked to no end. The following details are but the ingredients to which you can create your own delicious Android dish; your results will vary. Which is awesome!
If nothing else, this is a great way to discover new apps, widgets, icons, and more!
Why we love this look:
It’s three of the same apps we’ve seen time and again yet it looks different when put together in this manner. To be fair, Zooper opens itself up to an endless number of customized widgets. Both of these points are why we love doing this series.
The home screen provides a smattering of our most used settings and apps and leaves everything else to the app drawer. Indeed, it cuts down on potential clutter and lets the small images pop off the greys and whites. Still, you get your quick access to weather, clock, music, battery percentage, and notifications.
The apps used in this design can be used to create some other fantastic layouts, some of which can be found in other Get This Look features.
