Motorola: Moto X will see Android 4.4 KitKat within “weeks”

Motorola’s CEO, Dennis Woodside, in helping to announce the new Moto G smartphone, started off the event with a quick recap of the Moto X. According to Woodside, the Moto X is expected to see its Android 4.4 KitKat update within “weeks”. It’s not explicitly clear when, nor how the updates will roll out. Will we look for all carriers to fall in line at the same time or will it trickle out over different providers. We’ll be watching this over the next few days or weeks to see if Motorola provides more details.
