Lookout wants to reward the Tech Hero in your life

Popular mobile security company, Lookout, has announced a program to help payback the Tech Hero in your life. You know, that person who you always call, text, e-mail, Skype and Facebook message at all hours of the night when you think something is wrong with your phone or computer.

The contest runs from today through January 6, and is offering nearly $2000 in total prizes, to be split between your hero and yourself.

To nominate your Tech Hero, visit this link and nominate away. Then rally the troops, meaning your friends and family members, and have them help you vote for your hero. On January 7 the Lookout team will award the grand prize to the person with the most votes.

Easy enough, right? Just don’t embarrass yourself by having to call and ask your hero how to fill out the Facebook form. That’d just be sad.
