Samsung: 10 million Galaxy Note 3 shipments in first two months

Samsung has reportedly shipped at least 10 million Galaxy Note 3 devices in the first two months of release. As the fastest moving member in its family, it is beats its predecessor by two months. As for the first model in the Galaxy Note line, it too roughly nine months to hit the mark. There are, of course, far more carriers and markets offering the Galaxy Note. Toss in multiple new color options and you’ve got an almost guaranteed recipe for success.

As far as I know, when Samsung reports “shipped” numbers, it does NOT mean sold to an end user but simply shipped to a seller. Any device available in stock somewhere is included in the impressive “shipped” number. Misleading if you ask me…
