Chrome Beta gets the Material Design treatment, download and install it now [APK]

Google Play Store got the partial Material Design treatment just a few days ago and is now followed by Chrome Beta. Google’s browser got the UI overhaul along with some other tweaks and features. Let’s see what’s going on.

Three features, or release notes if you prefer, were listed on the official Chrome blog:

  • Material Design Updates
  • Simplified sign-in
  • Plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements

Main thing here is of course the design overhaul. The app looks somewhat different in pictures, but it feels completely revamped when you use it. Action overflow menu, tabs switcher… and other parts of the app have been tweaked. It would be best if you check out what’s new yourself.

We’re quite certain these changes will be out of Beta and arrive to the final version of Chrome in the near future. If you’re not willing to wait for Chrome Beta update via the Google Play Store, you can download it manually HERE. Please note once again that this is Chrome Beta we’re talking about.
