High-end Lenovo K920 expected in early August

Lenovo is up to something big, and we should expect it to launch around August 5th.

We’ve seen images and heard countless rumors of the Lenovo K920 in the past, and now we have an (almost) official launch date. For those who aren’t familiar, the Lenovo K920 is a rumored high-end smartphone that will push the boundaries of smartphone specs. Offering a 2K display, Snapdragon 801 processor, and 3GB of RAM, it shouldn’t fail to impress, whenever it becomes official. And how do we know about the date? Lenovo’s Marketing General Manager, Wang Yan, outed some vital information about the launch date.

The image of the phone was outed on Yan’s Weibo account, and confirms the August 5th launch date that most have been suspecting. Not only does it confirm the date, but it shows a nice portion of the back panel.

So far, we have very little information on the device. But if the specs turn out to be true, this one should be a big hit. We’ll be back with more information as the launch date gets closer.
