Cricket Wireless announces ZTE Grand X for August 8

Cricket Wireless this morning announced the upcoming availability of the ZTE Grand X, a 5-inch Android smartphone. Expected next Friday, August 8, the phone will cost $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate.

With its big, bright 5″ display, the ZTE Grand X will appeal to students looking for a well featured, large profile smartphone with access to Cricket’s new 4G nationwide network that covers over 98% of the population. This deal with unlimited plans starting at $35 per month after $5 Auto Pay credit gives consumers more options at great prices.

Powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the Grand X offers users a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing 1-megapixel shooter, and 2300mAh battery.
