Details leak for waterproof HTC Butterfly 2
A new image of the HTC Butterfly 2 has leaked thanks to @upleaks. The smartphone, which has already launched in Japan as the HTC J Butterfly HTL23, now seems to be known as the HTC Butterfly 2 for the Asia-Pacific Market.
@upleaks noted that the device is an English version but will not be coming to the U.S. or Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The device is the same design as the Japanese version and will come in Rouge, Canvas and Indigo color. It’s also assumed that the device will feature the same specs, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz quad core processor, 5-inch Full HD S-LCD3 display, dual camera, dual-tone flash LED, IPX5/IPX7 waterproof, IP5X dust proof 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSDXC card slot, although that could change when it’s announced.
With the HTC J Butterfly HTL23 coming sometime this month in Japan, hopefully it won’t be too much longer until the Butterfly 2 is announced.
