HTC could announce a Snapdragon 615-powered Desire at IFA
It hasn’t been too long since Qualcomm announced their new Snapdragon 615 processor. It’s projected to be available around the end of Q3 or beginning of Q4 2014, and we may already be seeing signs of it becoming available to the general public. According to the roadmap for the new chipset, we should see some new octa-core, 64-bit devices unveiled at IFA this year.
It wasn’t too long after Qualcomm’s announcement that HTC began sending out invites to their IFA event. It’s not much more than a coincidence, but we should be expecting some new Desire models soon. IFA is the perfect place to announce the new Desire models, along with one of the new chipsets. We’ll need to see what becomes official at IFA this year!
