The rumors have been heating up over the last few weeks for Ulefone’s next smartphone, the Power 3. It’s time to move it from from the category of rumor over to confirmed as the device goes on sale in but a few days. Indeed, the Ulefone Power 3 gets a pre-order launch date of Christmas Day, December 25.
Packing a massive 6,080mAh battery, the handset should have enough juice to get users through 2-3 days without breaking a sweat. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, but an Android 8.1 Oreo update is expected in short order.
The Power 3 offers up a MediaTek Helio P23 MTK6763 octa-core processor with some 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There’s more than enough here to satisfy seasoned smartphone users or those who like to tax their devices.
Taking the popular trend of dual-cameras on the rear one step further, the Power 3 is among very few phones with four shooters. That’s right, the front-facing camera setup is a dual setup, too. Around back is the 21-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera configuration while selfies get a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel combo.
As for the display, the Power 3 will have a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels). It’s almost all screen on the front side but there’s just enough space to include the cameras with Face ID support.
The Ulefone Power 3 is available in two color options: black and gold. We’re not quite sure what the pricing is for the phone but we’ll find out in just a few days. In the meanwhile, you can learn more about the handset at Ulefone’s website.
