Gameloft Gives Android Users Some Dungeon Love
Get your head out of the gutter, I don’t mean that kind of love. Gameloft via their twitter account announced today that they are giving away Dungeon Hunter to Android users for free as part of their Advent Calendar gift run that is currently going on.
I applaud Gameloft on this promotion they are doing, it is always good to give users free apps, but do they have to make it so difficult? Gameloft is notorious for the licensing policy that they have put in place for Android, a policy that is glaring even with this free giveaway today.

DoubleTwist Releases AirSync, Pouring Awesome Sauce All Over Your Device
We don’t need no stinkin’ wires! That is what DoubleTwist is saying with the release of their new AirSync add-on for their Android app. Before you read any farther, long story short, you can now sync music, videos and pictures to your Android device without a wire through DoubleTwist. You need to stop reading this article (can’t believe I am saying this) and go search the Android market now for the DoubleTwist AirSync app. The reason being that the add-on is only $.99 for the first 10,000 people to download it. After which, it will go up to $4.99. Go now. The rest of the article is waiting for you after the break.

Acer’s Lanci Predicting Victory in Tablet War in Two Years
I believe the quote that I am looking for comes from Top Gun, “Son, you’re ego is writing checks your body can’t cash” in reference to the news that Acer’s CEO Gianfranco Lanci is predicting that Acer’s tablet division, which makes both Android and Windows tablets are going to go take over Apple’s early lead in the tablet market.

Android Outselling W7 Handsets 15 to 1
I cannot say that I am very surprised, but there is an interesting article over at electronista.com talking about a retailer in the UK that is reporting that Android devices are out pacing the new Windows Mobile device 15 to 1.
Now to be up front, the report from the retailer is an isolated one, is not a nation wide analysis, but it is an indicator to go along with other indicators that paint a picture that perhaps the new Windows OS is not doing very well.

FlightView App Helps You Avoid Delays, Unfortunately Not Pat Downs
We wish there was an app to avoid the current pat-down procedures happening at airports, but until that gets developed, we have perhaps the next best thing; an app that helps you track and avoid delays. FlightView Elite, released for Android today, helps travelers by providing live flight boards, weather reports and the ability to call the airlines right from the app.

Could Rubin Drop Gingerbread on December 6th?
With the rumored Gingerbread drop date come and gone without any tasty little pastry men coming to light, speculation has once again started as to exactly when Gingerbread will release. With Eric Schmidt telling the world that it will be a “few weeks” during a recent interview, we have been looking for a date in which Google will announce the latest version of it’s Android operating system.
Looking at upcoming events, we happened to notice that Andy Rubin, creator of Android, is speaking at the D: Dive into Mobile conference on December 6th. Rubin will be the opening interview. Could Rubin drop Gingerbread or news of the impending release during the interview?
