Samsung Conquer 4G “Announced” for Sprint

Samsung and Sprint have teamed up for another Android offering, the Conquer 4G, but it’s hard to tell whether or not they want you to know about it.  At least not yet.   PhoneScoop found the details on Samsung’s website yesterday however the page has since been pulled. Fortunately, the specs and a few pictures were collected before getting unpublished.

The D600 Conquer 4G looks to be a low-cost entry into Sprint’s 4G-ready handsets with specs that would have seriously impressed the most die-hard Android fan one year ago. Today however, those buying their first smart phones will be getting a 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch display, 3.2-megapixel camera, and front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

The Conquer 4G will offer support for not only Sprint’s 4G network but it will also feature support for their Sprint ID packs. These bundled apps, themes, and widgets help new users tailor their Android experience around specific needs and demographics.

We’re still waiting on price and availability for the Conquer 4G as neither Sprint nor Samsung appear to have issued a press release for the phone just yet.  Looking at the image of the device, one might assume July 15th for release, but that’s just a wild guess.
