Top Grossing ‘The Mystery of the Crystal Portal’ Comes to Android

G5 Entertainment has released yet another game into the Android Market, this time in the form of a ‘brain-bending hidden object adventure’ game. You’ll play as Nicole Rankwist who is a New York journalist who needs to track down her missing father. The game is set in the late 1920’s and will feature a variety of locations around the world as you search for hidden objects, unlock puzzles, and play mini-games.

If you grew up in the 90’s playing games like Myst, 11th Hour, or Shivers, you’ll be familiar with style of game play. The game, originally developed for PCs, has seen plenty of success for the iOS platform (Top 10 grossing iPad game in 61 markets). The Mystery of the Crystal Portal does not have any time limitations nor are there penalties for simply tapping random spots.

Like other G5 titles, the game can be downloaded for free on Android phones and tablets (2.1+) with in-app purchases to unlock the full potential.
