Motorola Atrix 4G Approved by FCC
So it appears all but official that the Motorola Atrix 4G, which has been rumored to be launching March 1 on AT&T, has been officially approved by the FCC. Though the FCC documentation doesn’t mention the name “Atrix,” it’s pretty clear that is the device in question. First, it lists the model number as MB860, which Motorola has identified as the Atrix. Add to that the rare (in a phone) 5GHz 802.11n wifi and AT&T’s 3G and HSPA+ bands and it seems pretty well confirmed.

Leaked Document Suggests March 1 Launch for Motorola Atrix 4G
An internal document from AT&T might be considered confirmation of a launch date for the hot, new Motorola Atrix 4G. Considered one of the best Android-devices to be unveiled at last week’s CES, the phone looks to be arriving on Tuesday, March 1.

AT&T Announces Plans to Deliver Nation’s Most Advanced Mobile Broadband Experience
As the US’s only licensed iPhone dealer, AT&T has left a lot to be desired with providing their customers with the Android OS.
Things are changing in 2011 for AT&T. According to their media release, they plan on releasing 20 new 4G devices by the end of the year, 12 of them being Android.
