PopCap: Bejeweled 2 This Week, Plants vs. Zombies in Q2
Back in November, we heard that game developer PopCap was working on Android versions of several of its most popular games, aiming to release them in “early 2011.” We now have more information:
Bejeweled 2 will debut this week.
Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle and Chuzzle are on track to release in the second quarter of 2011.
They don’t plan to use OpenFeint at this point, but they are “more likely” to use Facebook Connect.
I’m not sure if Q2 counts as “early,” but it will still be in the first half of the year, so I guess we can say they’re generally on target–and it sounds like they will be worth the wait. -
