Last week I came across a great ROM for Motorola Droid 1 (a.k.a. “OG Droid”) tucked away in Droid Forums: Project Elite v4. Widely expected to arrive with much fanfare and hype, the Droid 2 Global simply appeared on Verizon’s website without so much as a peep. To Motorola’s credit, at least they have put together a YouTube video to publicly show off the new features of the world’s first 1.2GHz smart phone.
Verizon has officially announced pricing and availability for their upcoming, world-ready Droid Pro. Set to debut on November 18th, the 1GHz ‘Blackberry Killer’ will run $179.99 after a two-year service agreement and $100 mail-in rebate.
