First surfacing a few days ago, rumors of an HTC tablet from Sprint are getting unofficially confirmed. Recent trademark filings indicate a 4G-capable tablet is on the way, with a CTIA announcement widely expected.
HTC officially enters the Android tablet space with the debut of the 7-inch Flyer. Rather than porting a phone experience to a larger screen, the company is also launching a handful of new apps and services.
What a drop this one is. We’re hearing from FoneArena that some inventory shots have leaked, and it’s quite a load. We can see the HTC Flyer, Pyramid, and Desire 2. On the LG side of things, there’s mention of an LG Optimus 3D, as well as something called the “Star Tab”.
Yesterday we told you about the HTC Flyer’s specs. But there were some fill-in-the-blanks there, and I’m here to clear them up. Amobil, the same site that broke the specs we covered last night, has gotten word from a source that the specs are real, and they were able to fill in those empty blanks.
DigiTimes is back with another HTC tablet rumor. According to their sources, Taiwanese notebook maker Pegatron Technology has started taking orders for an HTC tablet. Allegedly this tablet will run NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor and feature a multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
