Review: T-Mobile G2
Two years and a few spare months have gone by since Google and T-Mobile partnered up to give us the world’s first Android phone, The HTC-built, T-Mobile G1. The G1 pioneered Android’s initial design, hardware and software alike. Tucked behind the 3.2inch LCD display, 528mhz processor, 192mb of ram, and 5-row keyboard was a infant mobile OS with exponential potential. The G1 led the first steps towards Android’s globalization. Over two years later, Google, T-Mobile, and HTC have come together once again to bring us the next generation of the G1…not surprisingly named the G2. The G2 gains a modern upgrade and design along with HSPA+ support, while retaining specific qualities that the G1 possessed, like the physical landscape qwerty keyboard. Evolution, or just a spec bump? Read along through this review to find out!

It seems that a previously unnamed HTC phone is in the works for T-Mobile, and it is going to be big, literally. The rumor as it sits right now is that is it going to be a 4.3″ qHD display, with HSPA+ capabilities, and running the first Qualcomm dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (MSM8x60).
