Acer Iconia Now Available at Office Depot

If you haven’t had a chance to play around with an Acer Iconia, you’re missing out. I had the opportunity of using one for around 10 minutes at my local Best Buy, and I was very impressed. It’s powered by Honeycomb and a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, just like the Motorola Xoom. I found it to be a lot lighter than the Xoom, which is one reason I loved it so much. But that’s beside the point. The Iconia Tab is now available for purchase from Office Depot for $449.99, the same price as Best Buy.

It is certainly a sign that tablet computing is getting be a deep part of culture when we see penetration into retail department stores. We may have a sign of that from our friends over at Android Central. They received a tip from on of their readers consisting of an image of an Acer Iconia Tab box, labeled with a Target non-retail sticker.
