According to LG’s official forum, Verizon’s LG Ally handsets will see Android 2.2 in February 2011. After making its debut with Android 2.1 all the way back in May 2010, the handset maker later promised Android 2.2 would eventually come.
The recently uncovered LG-LU3000 has just been made official for Korea. Known heretofore as the Optimus Mach, this new Android smart phone will boast a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 processor, a 3.8-inch screeen, and much more!
LG and VMware have partnered up to bring virtualization to an Android phone near you. The handset maker understands as well as anyone that today’s smart phones are more than capable of handling both work and play needs. Rather than carrying around two devices with separate features, LG plans to offer a virtual work environment using an Android application.
