New Update to Hit Samsung Moment on November 3rd
Owners of a Samsung Moment, rejoice! Sprint announced an update for your beloved phones. Well, update? This so called update, named DJ07, fixes only two minor bugs of the phone:
911 call restrictions after modem crash related to airplane mode and data lockup
Proximity sensor and screen lock enhancements
Sure, it’s fun to have those things fixed, but didn’t you expect more? The update will be available OTA soon, direct downloads will be available on November 3rd. -
Sprint Expects to Launch Android 2.2 “In the Near Future”
In a recent announcement on Twitter, Sprint has said that it expects to launch Android 2.2 Sprint expects to launch Android 2.2 “in the near future.” On the Sprint’s message boards, a Sprint employee said
“As work on finalizing the software is under way, Sprint expects to launch Android 2.2 in the near future. It also will be available as an upgrade on the recently launched HTC EVO 4G.”
