U.S. Cellular’s Announces $29.99 Samsung Gem for April 1
U.S. Cellular’s Android roster grows by one tomorrow as they roll out the Samsung Gem. Starting April 1st, customers can pick up the Android 2.2-powered handset for only $29.99 after an $80 mail-in rebate. Hardware includes a 3.2-inch touch screen with advanced anti-scratch, a 3.2-megapixel camera, 4GM microSD card, and 1500mAh battery.

As expected, T-Mobile expands their Android roster today with the Galaxy S 4G. The obvious successor to the Vibrant, it features nearly identical hardware. While it won’t sway many current Android owners, it should attract those looking to leave behind a feature phone.

For the second time in a week, we’ve learned of a forthcoming MetroPCS handset from Samsung with LTE capabilities. This model, the Forte, is said to run Android 2.2 and feature a 1GHZ Hummingbird processor, a 5-megapixel camera, and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Spending Some Time With The Samsung Continuum (Review)
A sexy, sleek new Android device from Verizon Wireless brings a little twist to makes it stand out on its own. While it sports the Galaxy S logo many are familiar with, the Continuum separates itself with a few distinctions. The smaller 3.4″ Super AMOLED screen really is a beauty, just like all the other Galaxy S devices. The 1.8″ ticker display is the first thing to stand out & separate the Continuum from the rest of the pack. Aside from a few dislikes, the albeit gimmicky device should land in the hands of many Verizon Wireless customers. Best suited for those with smaller hands that find a typical 4.3″ display to be too large, but don’t want to sacrifice the speed of the ultra fast Hummingbird CPU.

Best Buy Prepping for Nexus S on November 14?
