Widely expected to arrive with much fanfare and hype, the Droid 2 Global simply appeared on Verizon’s website without so much as a peep. To Motorola’s credit, at least they have put together a YouTube video to publicly show off the new features of the world’s first 1.2GHz smart phone.
Verizon has issued a press release officially confirming what was leaked earlier this month. The Motorola Citrus handset announced in October will go on sale tomorrow, November 11th.
o much for the big press release and advertising blitz to kick off the Droid 2 Global. Motorola’s new CDMA/GSM world-traveler has already made its way onto Verizon’s website and is currently hiding in plain sight with a $199.99 price tag.
Samsung and Verizon officially announced the latest in the Galaxy S series of phones yesterday with the new, exclusive Continuum. The dual-screen device packs much of the same heft as Verizon’s other Galaxy S handset (Fascinate) with its 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5-megapixel camera, and 8GB microSD card.
