If you’re looking for some new Android apps or games check it out: we have a handful of popular new titles to get you started. What you’ll find below are some of the hottest trending apps of the last seven days (or so). We’re certain you will find something fun to play with this weekend. Let’s get to it!

action launcher 3Action Launcher 3

Chris Lacy has made some impressive apps that make using your smartphone pleasurable and, well, smart. His Action Launcher is one of the most popular apps on the Play Store. Now, he has totally rewritten and redone the popular launcher, and released on a whole new Play Store page as Action Launcher 3. This version is not only made for Android Lollipop, but has a sweet new feature called “Quicktheme”, which takes the colors from the image you have on the background and applies them to various things on your phone. In the picture here, you can see the Google Search bar has been turned red to match the wallpaper. It also includes the familiar Shutters and Covers from past versions. This app was just released yesterday, and already has over 500,000 downloads and a 4.2 star rating. If you want to try something new, I highly recommend this app. Note: For those who have paid for Action Launcher 2 Pro, Action Launcher 3 is a new app that you must pay separately for. For an explanation from the developer, see this post on Google+. We fully support Chris Lacy’s decision, and encourage you to support developers who work hard to bring great content to your phone.

  1. Action Launcher 3 wasn’t “just released yesterday”. The developer replaced Action Launcher with Action Launcher 3 and then turned the old license file app for action launcher into Action Launcher 2 Pro. So while it’s an enjoyable launcher, those download counts and ratings have very little relevance to Action Launcher 3.

  2. Why, oh why? We, the people of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, are tired of being left out in the cold. We do exist! Yet my own art site, deviantArt, cannot be installed on my Kindle. Phone? Yes. I do so love skimming through the new pieces on my phone. Okay, that’s not true, sorry.

Please recognize our existence and include us in your apps. We are worthy, truly! Okay, most of us are, sorry. Thank you for your consideration.
