I do not understand why this x86 12″ tablets do not have at least Chrome OS (now with google play) or dual Ubuntu / Android versions.
I am sure Chuwi would sell thousands of them (not millions of course) and that is great business for them.
And as Ubuntu runs great on those cheap x86 CPUs with 4Gb of RAM (and not MS WOS) and there are tons of FOSS …
… Being the x86 tablet / convertible of reference for pre installed Ubuntu (at MS Surface X86 models it runs great but new they are more expensive) will give the first OEM to do it a great promotion and PR as BQ or Meizu received with their Ubuntu Touch models.
