Keep in mind, the people who are in shape, like The Rock and Jillian Michaels, work out ridiculously hard, eat as clean as possible, and rest and recover every night. The key to getting fit is making a commitment to taking care of yourself and moving forward in your fitness goals. Don’t be afraid to use your camera

Weight isn’t always the best measurement for getting in shape. If you’re working out, you might be adding muscle mass which is more dense than fat. So you might be adding muscle while losing fat, and the scale doesn’t tell the whole truth. Every pound of muscle you add increases your metabolism which helps you burn more calories. The best way to check if you’re getting in shape is to take a picture of yourself when you start, and to take another picture every week or two to monitor your progress.
