More proof of a 7-inch Galaxy Note

New benchmarks have been spotted which seem to substantiate the claims that Samsung may be readying a 7-inch version of the Galaxy Note experience. Previous DLNA certifications, which suggested that a GT-N5110 was on the horizon, line up pretty closely with the model number (GT-N5100) in these new benchmarks.

What else can be gleaned from these figures? Thus far, each Galaxy Note device that has been released comes with a model number of GT-NXXXX. So there’s that.  As to what leads us to believe it’s the Goldilocks inch size, it’s purely reading tea leaves.  There’s no reason to believe that Samsung is ready to give us successors to either the 5.5-inch or 10.1-inch Note. This seems the most likely candidate, especially since Samsung has been known to favor the 7-inch and 7.7-inch form factor.

Additional specifications in the benchmarks include a 1280×720 display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with a Mali-400MP GPU, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

What do you think of a potential 7-inch Galaxy Note?  Is it the right size for you or do you prefer more phone with your Note experience?
