Welcome to another edition of Editor’s Picks, where we show you our top picks for the apps you should be checking out this month!
LastPass
Nowadays everybody has multiple accounts, from social media and emails to your Amazon account, it’s not easy to remember all your passwords. But LastPass makes things easier, by providing users with a platform that securely stores all passwords and accounts. The autofill feature logs you in in web browsers and apps and even generates new passwords if needed. All saved passwords are also available on all your devices.

Adobe illustrator Draw
Adobe Illustrator Draw is one of Adobe’s mobile apps that allows for PC-level graphic design. You can create your own vectors from scratch using high-level tools for a cartoon design, or edit your existing images for a dramatic variety of effects. I would personally recommend it for more intensive tasks.

Action Launcher 3
I’ve always thought that Action Launcher 3 is the best Android launcher on the Play Store. With the recent introduction of Pixel Launcher by Google, developer Chris Lacy was fast to implement very similar features into AL3. Add to that Quicktheme, Quickbar, shutters, covers, gesture support, and icon pack support and you get an experience like no other launcher can currently provide.

LibreTorrent is a nice, stable torrent application that doesn’t bog you down with ads and looks nice. I highly recommend it.

MTA Train Time
Admittedly a rather limited app in terms of scope, the MTA Train Time app is almost a required download if you live in the New York metropolitan area or Long Island. Paired with the MTA eTix app it allows you to view train schedules from any LIRR, Metro North or MTA station depending on which version you download, and book tickets right from your phone. No more standing in line at the station to get a paper ticket, or rushing around trying to figure out the schedule of your train home late at night. These excellent apps by the MTA take a lot of the hassle out of your commute.

Inbox
Google’s Gmail is a extremely popular email service, and the Gmail app is a very serviceable way to check your email. There is, however, an alternative app from Google for checking your Gmail email. Inbox is a streamlined, simplified way to organize and view emails. Inbox allows for easy email management, with a simple swipe to remove and archive the email in a “done” folder that deletes automatically as it fills. Inbox lets you get the most important information without even opening the message. Check-in for flights, see shipping information for purchases, and view photos from friends right up front. Similar messages are bundled together so you can deal with them all at once. And get rid of them with one swipe. Also, you can add Reminders so your inbox contains all the things you need to get back to. Snooze allows you to have your emails pop up when you need them, or hide them for a bit of respite. Inbox is a powerful tool for power email users and anyone who wants more control over their Gmail inbox.
When will Google close inbox? How come that this is still around!?
