Refreshed Nexus 7 details emerge ahead of Google I/O

Google may introduce a refreshed version of the Nexus 7 tablet at Google I/O next week, according to rumors surfacing in the past few months. With word of a faster processor and higher resolution display, the word is that the tablet will feature a thinner bezel and overall thinner and lighter form factor.

New details arrived late this week which provide a more specific look at what might be in store for us.  Keep in mind that these are unconfirmed and subject to change. We’ll find out soon enough (maybe) if this is what Google is cooking up for Google I/O.

    • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
    • 7-inch LTPS display (1920 x 1200 resolution) (WUXGA)
    • Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor (APQ8064)
    • 5-megapixel rear camera
    • HD front-facing camera
    • Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth
