Moto G 2015 Featured

If you had your heart set on getting the 16GB version of the 2015 Moto G, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. As of yesterday, the variant that sports 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM sold out via Motorola’s Moto Maker site. Surely, Moto will be back on the horse and get some stock replenished so they can get this awesome device out to more consumers.

Now the 8GB variant is still available for $40 less at $179, so if you don’t care too much about the extra storage, or the extra gigabyte of RAM, you can grab one. The 16GB variant does have an extra GB of RAM which will help improve processing on the device with little, to no stutter. Regardless of which way you were leaning, the Moto G 2015 is definitely a device to be had, even if you’re a flagship snob.

  1. Just ordered my 16GB; “anticipated delivery date of Aug. 24th”. Ugh, but wanted to glean some early camera reviews before plunking down my money. Looks promising so far; we shall see.

      • Moto E right now. Tried it to see if the value was there. If it had a better camera and more storage I’d say I love it! I just keep running into ‘insufficient space available’ issues and the camera leaves me wanting outside of primo lighting conditions.
Before that it was the Moto G (1st Gen) and Moto X (1st Gen); prior to that was a smattering of Samsung Galaxies, which I came to loathe. So I guess reading that last sentence makes me a Moto guy. :)

        • I can say that after messing around with the camera on the G 2015 for the last few days, it’s definitely an improvement from the first gen Moto X and the first gen Moto G. It’s surprisingly good. Obviously not the greatest in the world, but it’ll do the job just fine.
