Amazon released a slew of updates to its Fire phone and it is for both the unlocked and AT&T models. Â The AT&T Fire phone will upgrade to software version 3.6.5 and the unlocked GSM model moves to 3.6.8. Â The Fire phone should update on its own when you are connected wirelessly. Â But if some reason you aren’t wireless, you can upgrade the phone with a USB cable by transferring the software from your computer. Â The Fire phone has gotten off to a slow start in sales, but with the recent price drop to $199.99 on Black Friday, I am sure this update will apply to quite a few phones.
Here is a list of the updates from Amazon.com.
