ARCHOS 50 Diamond
The ARCHOS 50 Diamond is one of the new, affordable 4G devices the company will unveil at CES 2015.

While it may not have got much attention at CES 2015 where big-wigs like LG and Samsung are making headlines, Archos has announced a couple of powerful devices including Archos Diamond 50 smartphone and the Archos 80b Helium tablet.

Archos Diamond 50 is a smartphone that features a 5-inch Full HD display and a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor that includes four 1.7GHz cores and four cores clocked at 1GHz. In terms of memory, it features 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It sports a 16 megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixels front snapper. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box, the Diamond 50 supports data transfer through 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi and GPS. This maid-ranger houses a 2,700mAh battery, which should last an entire day on full charge.

The other product is a line of 4G LTE-equipped tablets dubbed 80b Helium. Featuring 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the 80b Helium is available in variants of 7-inches, 8-inches and 10.1-inches. It runs on a 1.7GHz quad-core MediaTek’s processor and 1GB of RAM. In terms of memory, this ultra-affordable has 8GB of expandable inbuilt storage in addition to Android 4.4 KitKat and a 3,600mAh battery.
