Asus Eee Pad Transformer Official Specs and Pics

Remember that tablet from Asus that got shown off at CES this year? The one with a keyboard dock that turns it into a laptop? It’s a bit closer to reality now, as it has its own product page on Asus’ website, complete with specs and a variety of photos and screenshots.

The Transformer will run Honeycomb with “Asus WaveShare UI” on top of it, and will include Polaris Office 3.0 to edit .doc, .xls and .ppt files.

Specs include:

  • 10.1″ LED Backlight WXGA(1280×800) screen
  • NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU
  • 1GB memory and 16 or 32 GB storage
  • 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel front camera
  • HDMI 1.3a port
  • 9.5 hour battery life as a tablet, lasting 16 hours when docked.

Head on over to Asus for full details.
