ASUS announced a few interesting devices at CES recently. While I was looking out for the ZenPhone Zoom that was hinted at three days ago, ASUS dropped the ZenPhone 2 with an astounding 4 GB of RAM.

For a little perspective, I am currently working on a laptop with half of that. Granted it is a Chromebook, but still, this is an amazing thing.

The ZenPhone isn’t just a one trick pony either. It also is equipped with

  • 64 bit Intel Atom processor
  • 5.5″ screen that apparently covers 71% of the front body
  • 13 MP rear shooter paired with a 5 MP  front facing camera
  • LTE capabilities
  • Fast charging – 0% to 60% in 39 minutes
  • ZenUI – ASUS’s own version of Android Lollipop

The ZenPhone also has a 2 GB of RAM model that is expected to cost $199.The price of the 4 GB ZenPhone 2 isn’t confirmed yet, but Phone Arena expects it to go for around $249 which does make sense.
